Lalu lama kelamaan NodeJS mendapat update, lalu saat aplikasi dijalankan error.
Ini karena dependensi aplikasi kita mungkin memerlukan versi NodeJS tertentu.
Biasanya cara melakukannya adalah dengan menginstal NodeJS versi tertentu.
Misalnya sekarang kita berada di NodeJS versi 20, maka aplikasi kita perlu diinstal NodeJS versi 10.
Jadi kita install NodeJS versi 10 untuk menjalankan aplikasinya.
Namun hal itu tidak perlu dilakukan sekarang, karena sudah ada cara yang lebih mudah.
Jalankan saja perintah berikut:
npx node@10 -v v10.24.1
Anda dapat menjalankan perintah ini langsung di folder proyek nodejs Anda.
npx node@10 app.js
Kemudian jika Anda ingin menginstal paket berdasarkan NPM versi lama, lakukan seperti ini:
npx npm@10 install
Jadi dengan cara ini Anda tidak perlu menginstal NodeJS versi tertentu secara global, karena versi NodeJS khusus ini hanya akan berjalan di direktori proyek NodeJS yang sedang berjalan.
Versi NodeJS tertentu dapat dijalankan tanpa melakukan downgrade.
